Michael Collins.
Born in 1890 near Clonakilty in West Cork.
Collins was an Irish revolutionary leader, TD and founding father of Fianna Gael .
Michael was President of the IRB, Director of Intelligence for the IRA and member of the Irish Delegation of the Anglo-Irish Treaty.
In 1922, during the Irish Civil War, Collins was shot by the Black and Tans in an ambush at Béal na mBláth in West Cork.
